KBTeC - ENCASIT

ENCASIT is a EU funded Nerwork to gather and disseminate information in the area of Systems Integration, particularly SiP, SoC, PiP and PoP. These technologies integrate various electronics components into system or module contained in a discrete package. This is then normally integrated with other electronic components or modules into a complete functional system. The integration of blocks of components in this way makes for easier design, by partitioning, and easier testing.

ENCASIT stands for European Network for Co-ordinated Action in Systems Integration Technologies. Consortium members are IMEC, Infineon, Philips, AMIS, Schlumberger, Bosch, Austin Semi and KBTeC.

The consortium runs Workshops, Newsletters and a Web Site, for the benefit of the Die Industry and its members which number over 1700 worldwide.
